Superboy #61
April 1999
Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett - storytellers, Dan Davis - inks, Buzz Setzer - colors, Frank Berrios - assistant editor, Comicraft - letters, Mike McAvennie - editor

Do hypertime versions of Ambush Bug count? I say they do. Superboy is being pinballed through hypertime, where he briefly meets a Kirbyesque macho hero-type Bug, whose familiar suit is now made of armor. The Bug is part of this reality's Justice Society. (Reported by Ambush Bug Agent #002, Squashua)

Elseworld's Finest: Supergirl and Batgirl

Appearance reported by Ambush Bug Agent #005 mike jozic, and Agent #004 IRWINSCHWAB: Ambush Bug appears on several pages as part of an Elseworlds JLA. With this many alternate Bugs running around, can a "true" new appearance be far behind? (Interior art supplied by Ambush Bug Agent #008 Tenzel Kim. Cover art supplied by Ambush Bug Agent #005 mike jozic.)

Plastic Man Special #1
1999

Reported by Agent #012 Kevin: "In Plastic Man 38-page special #1 (1999) on page 37, square 2; it shows a group of forgotten heroes, in the group it shows ambush bug. Ambush bug does not say anything, or do anything but you can still see his head." (Images supplied by Agent #015 DIOS.)
